1. REACH

Reach regulation name is the regulation on registration, assessment, licensing and restriction of chemicals, which includes four parts: registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction. From June 1, 2009, the former EU directive 76/769/eec was replaced by reach appendix 17. Currently, annex 17 to reach of the EU regulation contains 64 categories of substances. For accessories, the control substances in reach appendix 17 are mainly lead, cadmium, nickel release and phthalate. Among them, the lead articles of jewelry are article 63 of annex XVII issued by the European Commission in its official gazette on September 19, 2012, and has been officially effective on October 9, 2012. In addition, the number of substances of high concern (SVHC) that meet the requirements of reach Article 57 has been increased to 169.
